Born out of Karuna Action, a charity working to empower communities facing poverty, Karuna Coffee exists to turn conscious consumption into lasting change. We created Karuna Coffee because we believe business can and should be a force for good.
Every bag we produce supports community-driven projects locally and globally, from
supported volunteer placements on our doorstep to small enterprise development, ensuring families have the tools to overcome poverty with dignity on their own terms.

Farmers are not anonymous suppliers; they are community partners. We only choose ethical growers who ensure responsible practices. We reinvest the proceeds into sustainable community projects, meaning every sale travels further than the supply chain.
Sustainable, Small-Batch Roasting
Our coffee is roasted in small batches using electric roasters, powered by 100% green energy. This dramatically reduces our carbon footprint and ensures consistency. Every batch is overseen by our skilled volunteer roasters, who manage the roast to guarantee the quality in every bag. It’s hands-on and craft-driven and rooted in environmental and social responsibility.
