Karuna Coffee House

A place to connect, create, contemplate and unwind.

Opened in 2021, on the ground floor of our building we have the café area to the front, this area runs with voluntary help as part of our community engagement.

We encourage people to engage with the Karuna Coffee House from every part of our community. Our volunteers are vital to our work and putting our ethos into action, they are vital to making us a place of friendship and safety.

Towards the back of the ground floor we have The Roastery, something Karuna Action has been doing since 2014 as a way of raising funds but also supplying customers and the shop with the best coffee in town.

The Roastery is another space that people can use and hire but mostly you’ll find people here on their laptops working and enjopying being in the building but away from the bustle of the main cafe area.

Our building also offers

Wholesale coffee

We supply freshly roasted specialty coffee to businesses across the UK, from independent cafés and restaurants to offices and hospitality spaces. Available as whole beans or ground to suit your setup, with training, equipment support, and white label options available.

Office and Meeting Space

The top floor is a space where you can work or have meetings. It’s somewhere that, if you work from home, is less isolated. We have made sure this space is flexible and comfortable while remaining part of the administrative hub of the building.

Selah Space

Selah is a Hebrew word for pause and reflect. This is a place that people can get away from the noise of life, it’s a naturally still and quiet place. It is used for various activities but particularly encouraging times of reflection, guided silence and more sedatory activities. If the café is busy we use this space as an overflow for those that want to escape the noise.
